The JCC Trio (Dan Joseph, Tom Chiu & Jason Cady) developed organically over the course of several casual sessions at TROOST, where I hosted a monthly series called “Sunday Soundscapes.” Che Chen attended one of those, and later invited us to play on the Fire Over Heaven series.
